Covering cultivation with insect-proof net is a new and practical environmental-friendly agricultural technology for increasing production. By constructing artificial isolation barrier on the shelf, insect pests can be excluded from the net, the reproductive pathway of insect pests (adults) can be cut off, and various insect pests such as cabbage worm, diamondback borer, diamondback moth, aphid, beet armyworm and Liriomyza sativa can be effectively controlled. The transmission of Spodoptera litura and the prevention of the spread of viral diseases. It also has the functions of light transmission and moderate shading, creates favorable conditions for crop growth, ensures that the application of chemical pesticides in vegetable fields is greatly reduced, makes the output of crops of high quality and sanitation, and provides a strong technical guarantee for the development and production of pollution-free green agricultural products.
Insect-proof nets also have the ability to withstand natural disasters such as storm scouring and hail attack. Insect-proof nets are widely used for isolating pollen introduction in vegetable, rape and other original seed production. Potatoes, flowers and other virulent shelters and non-polluted vegetables can also be used for insect control and disease prevention in tobacco seedling. At present, they are the preferred products for physical control of various crop and vegetable pests. Really let the vast number of consumers eat "rest assured dishes" and make contributions to China's food basket project.
There are three main points to pay attention to when using the cultivation technique of covering insect-proof net, from selecting and purchasing insect-proof net to covering insect-proof net.
1. The mesh number, color and width of yarn nets should be taken into account when selecting insect-proof nets reasonably. If the mesh size is too small and the mesh size is too large, the effect of insect control will not be achieved; and if the mesh size is too small, it can prevent insects, but the ventilation is poor, resulting in high temperature and too much shading, it is not conducive to crop growth. Generally, 22-24 objective insect-proof nets should be selected. In the spring and autumn season, compared with summer, the temperature is lower and the light is weaker, so the white insect-proof net should be chosen; in summer, black or silver-gray insect-proof net should be chosen for both shading and cooling; in areas where aphids and viral diseases occur seriously, silver-gray insect-proof net should be chosen for repelling aphids and preventing viral diseases.
2. Pests and eggs may be present in seeds, soils, plastic shed or greenhouse skeletons, shelf materials and so on. Before planting vegetables, seeds, soil, shelf skeleton and shelf materials must be treated with pest control net, which is the key link to ensure the cultivation effect of pest control net.
3. To ensure the quality of coverage, insect-proof nets should be completely enclosed and covered, compacted with earth around them, and fixed firmly with film-pressing lines. Installation of insect-proof nets is necessary for doors entering and leaving large, medium and greenhouses, and attention should be paid to closing them immediately when entering and leaving. The height of the shelf is obviously higher than that of the crop, so that the vegetable leaves should not be close to the net to prevent pests from feeding outside the net or laying eggs on the vegetable leaves. The insect-proof net used for closing the vent should not leave a gap between the net and the transparent cover, so as not to leave a passage for the pests. Inspect and repair the holes and cracks in the insect-proof net at any time.
